The classic. A thin penetrating oil is sprayed into every seam, cavity and underbody area. It penetrates deeply, self-heals through creep, and reaches areas thicker products can't. The downside: it drips for 24–48 hours after application and needs to be reapplied annually.

A thick rubberized coating sprayed on the underbody. Lasts several years, provides physical protection against stone chips, but doesn't penetrate cavities the way oil does. Best used on the underbody surfaces, ideally combined with an oil spray for internal cavities.

Semi-permanent wax-based coatings that don't drip after application. Cleaner and longer-lasting per application than oil, but slightly less penetrating. A popular choice for owners who dislike the drip period of oil spray.
